Nasstar Leading from the Front at Manchester Law Society Conference

In news / By Lydia Cooper / 14 March 2019

As a long-term Manchester Law Society Advantage member, Nasstar is pleased to be attending the latest society conference, Leadership for Lawyers on March 19th, 2019.

The event is designed to help those that are considered leaders within their firm, whether that’s a head of department or a team leader, to improve their skills and offer up sound advice from a panel of experienced professionals.

Importance of Training Leaders

Nowadays, many legal professionals transition into leadership roles without being given the right training. Therefore, just because someone is in a senior position, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they are a good leader.

At the Manchester Law Society Leadership for Lawyers conference, all speakers, partners and managers are leading experts in their own right and will be on hand to share their tips for helping others to become better leaders.

At Nasstar, we understand the importance of leading a business from the front and nothing gives us more pleasure than seeing one of our team members climbing the ranks into a leadership role. However, we also understand the importance of offering the appropriate training to ensure our staff can do the job to the best of their abilities.

As well as training, technology can also be key to the success of a good leader; helping to lighten the burden of managing a team of people. Tools that automate repetitive tasks can quickly become your best friend; collaboration and communication tools such as Office 365 can ensure that your team is productive, even if they’re not in the same office.

Leadership for Lawyers

Nasstar’s hosted desktop and cloud-based solutions enable access to files and documents from anywhere and on any device, allowing leaders to improve productivity. We’re experts when it comes to legal IT and our Business Development Executive, Andy Lewis, will be on hand at the Leadership for Lawyers event to answer any questions you might have around using IT to improve your leadership skills.
