Nasstar For Recruitment: New name, same dedicated service
The end of 2016 marked a big change for Nasstar’s recruitment division. Formerly known as Kamanchi, the business officially rebranded to Nasstar For Recruitment after being acquired by the Group in 2014.
Guy Deterding who joined the business in December 2015 as managing director, spoke to Recruitment International about the company’s rebrand and the benefits it will bring to both clients and employees, as well as reflecting on 12 months in his role and the changes he has experienced.
The rationale for the acquisition two years ago was consistent with Nasstar’s stated expansion strategy of organic growth augmented by selective acquisitions where the Company can add intellectual property, technical expertise and sector knowledge in its main vertical markets, one of which is recruitment. It was important to the Group that the intrinsic value of the business was retained and protected throughout the rebrand hence the controlled nature of the process.
For now, Nasstar For Recruitment is looking ahead to 2017 and the opportunities of being part of a wider group will bring. The organisation will continue to build on its professional services team, and plans to create a similar offering, providing independent advice, analysis, process and application engineering and project delivery, in other industries such as legal and financial services, of which the Group already have a significant customer based and experience.
