Nasstar Directorate Change
In news / By Charlotte Tobulevicius / 28 October 2019
Earlier this year we announced that Peter Daresbury would be stepping down as Chairman of the Nasstar board after 12 years, with Nick Bate taking up the position as of October 23rd. We are pleased to announce that this change has now taken effect and whilst we bid farewell to Peter and thank him for his work with us, we welcome Nick to the Chairman position.
Nick has been a Non-Executive Director of the Board since 2014 and has a wealth of experience both from his time at Nasstar, and from his involvement within several private technology companies. We are very much looking forward to what Nick can bring to the Chairman position and wish him the best of luck in his new role.
We are also pleased to announce that Ben Marnham has now joined us as Non-Executive Director. Ben is an investor and adviser in high growth IT and Telecoms businesses and is also Chairman of Circle IT. He brings with him a broad range of experience, from his time at Solar Communications where we helped restructure the business to success to his role at Alternative Networks – a start up in 1994 which turned over £115m in 2012.
Nigel Redwood, CEO, said:
“On behalf of the shareholders and the rest of the Board, I’d like to thank Peter for his service to Nasstar over the last 12 years, and in particular over the last five years since the transformational acquisition we completed in 2014. We are now delighted to welcome Nick as Chairman and Ben to the Board, their experience will prove invaluable as we move towards the end of our “10-19” programme and beyond.”
