Nasstar collaborates with the Association of Women Solicitors

Nasstar is delighted to be working in collaboration with AWS Manchester and Douglas Scott to host a professional development event with guest speaker John Dabrowski – a published author, international speaker and global expert on Mental Resilience.
The event will take place on Monday 6th March 2017 at NatWest, 1 Spinningfields Square, Manchester 6-9pm and provides a forum at which women solicitors can network and engage in discussions on key issues affecting them in the profession today.
The AWS was set up in the early 1980s and today has an active Committee whose objectives is to bring together women solicitors from Manchester and its environs and aims to support and promote members at every stage of their career.
Our speaker, John Dabrowski has spent over 30 years in the business world, putting him in a position to deal with contemporary business challenges and advise how to implement success strategies for challenging times – such as increased pressure at work, situations of extreme stress and how to avoid a negative mindset.
As an organisation operating within a heavily male dominated industry, Nasstar is keen to support women in all walks of life and is delighted to be involved in this event. The issues that will be discussed will have impacted most people at some point in their lives and we look forward to some interesting discussions throughout the evening.
We hope to see you there, in the meantime why not check out our blog on 'Top Female Tech Influencers - Why Female Mentors Matter in Tech' written by resident Nasstarian writer, Ellen Bowers.
