Nasstar are on the lookout for a fantastic Accounts Assistant to join their Finance Team, in Telford on a 6 month fixed term contract.
Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Reporting to: Revenue Accounting Manager
Purpose of Job:
The role’s main purpose is sales/revenue invoicing, accounting, reporting and reviewing for the Nasstar group; and:
• To also support the Revenue Accounting Manager in the development of the revenue accounting function and systems.
• To be the primary point of contact for revenue related enquiries for both customers and internal colleagues.
• To assist with various activities in the Accounting function.
-Maintain various revenue records and reporting systems including (but not limited to):
◦Nasstar Support Desk and Portals ◦Nasstar own Database (NASDB) ◦Navision
◦Cobweb. ◦Connectwise. ◦Microsoft Partner Site (O365) ◦Gladinet
In order to update, validate and reconcile internal and external revenue streams.
Maintain required detailed data input and produce and maintain reports and records for sales invoicing and recharging.
Essential Skills: The ideal candidate will possess the following essential skills:
-Sound book keeping knowledge with relevant accounts department experience in a fast paced environment.
-Proficient in MS Office with excellent / superior spreadsheet (Excel) knowledge and skills.
-Sound knowledge and understanding of accrued and deferred income.
-Ability to work effectively in a team whilst taking responsibility for own workload.
-Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
-Tenacity in problem solving and work completion to deadlines.
-Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technology.
