Talent Acquisition Lead

We are on the lookout for our new Talent Acquisition Lead! Your role will be to work closely with management to recruit skilled, qualified and knowledgeable people in line with the requirements of the role, and our company culture & values. You will help to recruit staff for all of our UK offices - Telford, Northampton, Central London and Bournemouth - with the potential to support our NZ office with their sourcing needs.
• Liaise with managers to produce accurate, attractive Job Descriptions conducive to effective recruitment. • Devise effective candidate generation strategies to produce quality applicants whilst minimising recruitment costs & agency usage. • Pre-screen applicants prior to line manager consideration via CV and telephone reviews. • Devise & manage appropriate assessment processes, supporting the line manager throughout. Also - prepare suitable assessment materials such as interview templates and assessment centre materials tailored to the vacancy. • Advise on the selection, administration and interpretation of appropriate psychometric tests or business personality assessment instruments. • Advise managers on selection and appointment of successful candidates • Hand over to HR for ‘on-boarding’ process • Provide interview and assessment skills training to various levels of management • Advise on salary trends and other factors influencing recruitment effectiveness. • Able to work under pressure for periods of time and meet tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate will:
• Be CIPD qualified to level 3 and / or IRP associate level or equivalent experiential background. • Be BPS Level A and B (Occupational Ability and Personality) qualified • Understand UK employment law as it relates to recruitment – Including discrimination, GDPR and so forth. • Possess at least 18 months to 2 years recruitment experience • Above all, operate ethically and recruit in a way that compliments the image of the company • Be tenacious to see tasks through to successful completion. • Possess a desire to produce high quality work, having high personal standards and taking pride in your work. • Be able to plan and manage your own workload • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills • Possess a healthy and active initiative with a natural ability to solve problems constructively
