Job title: Project Support Officer

Location: Bournemouth Office (BH2 5QY)

Reporting to: Managing Director (Interim basis)

Working pattern: Full-Time, Permanent - Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:30.

Purpose of role: Supporting the Project Team with the daily running of the Project Management Office.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have responsibility for the below main duties;

• Assisting the project managers with large projects as required • Handling of small projects with assistance initially eventually independently • Resource scheduling • To act as a point of contact to the PMO team for enquiries • Purchasing assistance (working between PMO and purchasing team) • Assisting with comms line ordering • Hardware logistics (arranging deliveries of hardware and the preparation of items for delivery) • Team logistics (i.e. Collating hotel and travel requirements for go-lives) • Documentation preparation (such as creation of project documents, printing & binding meeting documentation) • Other PMO duties as required

Note that infrequent travel may be required for this role including short periods of overnight stays which will be arrange in advance with good notice.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience: The ideal candidate should possess as a minimum,

• Good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft products including

o Word
o Excel
o Outlook
• Experience of prioritising own workload • Excellent interpersonal skills

Desirable skills are,
• Knowledge of project methodologies (Prince 2, Agile etc) • Experience of working in a project team environment • Exposure to IT infrastructure or knowledge of terms used
