Nasstar practice lead Jason Oliver awarded AWS Ambassador status
Nasstar is pleased to announce that Jason Oliver has been selected by Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join its prestigious AWS ambassador program. This highly select group of technical experts consists of just 234 individuals globally and only 42 within the EMEA region.
Jason is an accomplished principal Cloud architect and builder with over 25 years of transformational IT experience working with organisations of all sizes and complexity. His nomination is based on his multiple AWS Certifications and valuable contributions to the AWS community.
Nasstar is a long-standing AWS Premier Consulting Partner and Managed Service specialist, and Jason’s expertise is available to all Nasstar clients as they seek to design, migrate, implement, and / or monitor AWS workloads.

Jason has worked on several impressive AWS implementation projects which have led to his recognition as an ambassador. Jason is particularly proud of leading a project on the Modernisation of Direct access to RARS2 that replaced the Rail Delivery Group’s legacy networking technology with innovative AWS cloud-native technologies. This project has supported Rail Delivery Group and enabled them to succeed by delivering better services for their customers, including a faster ticket buying process. Delivering successful AWS solutions like this has enabled Jason to develop his own expertise and gain successful recognition in the cloud community.

Nasstar Awarded AWS Managed Cloud Services Partner status for the 7th year in a row
Nasstar is pleased to announce that it has passed its most recent audit from AWS with flying colours to again be authorised as one of its Managed Cloud Services Partners for the 7th year in a row.
The process is designed by AWS to ensure its partner’s “business health and technical capabilities meet a high bar”. Nasstar was one of the first UK partners to be awarded membership to this prestigious and elite program and recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary of becoming an AWS partner.
As the cloud market continues to grow and innovate, the AWS framework is increasingly challenging and partners must not only demonstrate their technical expertise but display new referenceable workloads to prove a growing AWS practice and dedication to innovation.
